Poop de Doo!
comes to your yard at least once a week to clean up what your pets leave behind and take this unwanted job off your hands. We disinfect and deodorize our tools and shoes after we finish each yard. We double bag the waste and dispose of it in your trash can.  Poop de Doo! operates year round.

Why clean your yard?

Pet waste left in the yard can pose a serious health hazard to your pets and your family. Dog poop can contain harmful bacteria (ie: E. Coli, Parvovirus, Fecal Coliform, Salmonella), worms and parasites. Left alone, it can pass parasites back to your dog and other animals, not to mention children and adults who play or work in the yard. Parasitic infections can make humans extremely sick, and for pregnant women, can pose a serious harm to their unborn child.

Pet waste is also a contributor to storm water pollution; it contains disease-carrying bacteria and toxic chemical nutrients that can increase the risk of viral infections, flu and skin rashes for oceans swimmers near storm drain outfalls.

For a more detailed discussion of the dangerous diseases caused by pet waste, check out this article by Race Foster, DVM, of Drs. Foster & Smith.

“The best way to prevent these [diseases], and the many bacterial infections dogs can acquire from stools, is to remove feces at least weekly (more often if possible) . . .”      ~ Race Foster, DVM

Our service begins with a thorough cleanup of your yard. This initial scooping is a minimum of $55 for the first hour and $15 for each 15 minutes after.

After this first visit, Poop de Doo! comes one or more times a week depending on your requirements.

Once a week prices for total number of dogs in household:
1 dog:   $12.00
2 dogs: $15.00
3 dogs: $18.00
4 dogs: $21.00
Additional dogs $3 each

Other service schedules are available; please call for details.
After our visit, the only thing left behind is a waste-free yard! We report if we find anything unusual in the dog piles we pick up. We’ve been able to tell customers about possible pet health concerns to check out, including roundworms, tapeworms, bloody stools, and ingestion of foreign objects.

We also tell customers if we notice anything unusual at their house, like an open garage door, unfamiliar people going into the house, odd cars or trucks in the driveway, an outdoor grill that has been left on, or other potential problems.

How do I start my service?

No. To stop service, call at least 24 hours before your next scheduled service visit.  We would prefer a weeks notice.

Does someone have to be home when you come to scoop?
No. If your yard is fenced, we ask that you unlock the gate on your service day.

Can my dog be in the yard when you scoop?
We absolutely love dogs however, we prefer to have the dog contained during our visit even though we are huge dog lovers, you never know what can happen when a stranger walks into your yard. Also, we can do a more thorough job if we are not distracted by a playful pup.

Do you work in bad weather?
Yes, we work unless it’s lightning or if heavy rainfall interferes with the quality of the job we can perform. Usually, we can make up a missed service call during the same week it was scheduled. You will not be charged for a missed appointment due to inclement weather.

Monday through Friday.

What if my service appointment falls on a holiday?
